Open Gym sessions are designed to be flexible and player-driven, allowing participants to focus on the areas they wish to improve, whether it be shooting, dribbling, or playing scrimmages with peers. This unstructured playtime is crucial for young athletes to apply the skills they have learned in a real-game setting, fostering creativity and confidence on the court. Moreover, the Open Gym provides a platform for players to build camaraderie with friends, encouraging a sense of community and teamwork.
For those looking for more structured training, we offer a range of programs tailored to different skill levels and needs. From our Premier Basketball Training Camp to specialized Basketball Skill Training Programs, we provide comprehensive training that focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of the game.
RULES FOR YOUTH OPEN GYM
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and productive environment for all participants, The Basketball Factory Inc. has established the following rules for players and parents during Open Gym sessions. Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory:
Respect for All Participants:
Players must show respect to coaches, fellow players, and all staff members. This includes refraining from using foul language, engaging in physical altercations, or displaying unsportsmanlike behavior.
Proper Attire and Equipment:
All participants must wear appropriate basketball attire, including basketball shoes. Players should also bring their own water bottles to stay hydrated. The Basketball Factory will provide basketballs and other necessary equipment.
Use of Facilities:
Players should use the facilities respectfully and follow all posted rules regarding the use of courts, locker rooms, and other amenities. Clean up after yourself and dispose of any trash properly.
Safety First:
Safety is a top priority. Players must follow all instructions from coaches and staff to prevent injuries. Any injuries or accidents must be reported immediately to a coach or staff member.
